Spring is in full swing and it’s time to turn up the heat! Fancy yourself a master on the grill? Or does the thought of deciding between propane and charcoal send you into a tizzy? Whether you’re an expert or a newbie, we have a scrumptious grilled veggie recipe that anyone can master. Think the grill is only for protein? No way! Grilling veggies brings out their natural sweetness and adds a smoky quality that no oven can bring (unless you use liquid smoke, maybe? We’ll get back to you on that). Fire up the grill, grab the fam and enjoy this delicious grilled veggie recipe brought to you specially by your Natierra family!
Step 1: Gather red, green and orange bell peppers, Natierra Himalania Pink Salt and a little olive oil.
Step 2: Cut your peppers into quarters, remove the seeds and coat with the pink Himalayan salt. Be sure to cut the veggies large enough so they don’t fall between the grill grates!
Step 3: Fire fire! Light up the grill and place your veggies across the open flame. Remember to space your veggies out so they don’t “steam” and so they’ll cook faster.
Step 4: Dance break for six to 10 minutes while your veggies cook.
Step 5: Mangé! Time to sit at the dinner table enjoy your yummy veggie creation with friends and family.
BONUS STEP: Sprinkle with a little cotija cheese if you’re feeling fancy. We promise you won’t regret it.
