Overnight Oats 5 Ways

Overnight oats have taken mornings by storm in the recent years, but let’s be honest, the flavors can start to be a little boring. Here are 5 fun flavor combinations to spice up your mornings. Oatmeal combined with nutrient-dense superfoods are just the right combination to power up your day. These can be made a few days in advance, saving you when just need to “grab and go” and get on with your day!

All oats should start with a base. Here is a pretty simple blend of oats, liquid, protein, and optional chia/hemp seeds. From there, the flavor combinations are pretty endless. Give a few new combinations a try to reinvigorate your breakfast!

Overnight Oats Base

This base serves 1
  • ½ cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup plant milk (or regular milk) of your choice
  • 1 scoop protein powder of your choice (Choose a flavor that will pair best with your desired mix-ins)
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup, or liquid sweetener of choice depending on flavor combination
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Small pinch of Himalania Pink Salt

Once all ingredients from the base and mix-ins are blended, pour into container and refrigerate overnight!

 

Flavor mix-ins for a fun twist:

Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake

  • 3 tbsp softened cream cheese (you can use a vegan option such as Kite Hill or Miyokos if necessary)
  • ½ cup Natierra Organic Freeze-Dried Raspberries
  • 1 tsp grated lemon zest
  • Replace vanilla extract with lemon juice
